When building or remodeling your home, there are so many options to consider: floor choices, paint colors, ceiling height, bathroom fixtures, and one less commonly thought of: your door choices. You might even wonder why weighing your options when it comes to door choices is even worth the effort. Take a minute to count the number of doors in your house. Not a small number, right? Consider then, the impact that a little attention to the doors can have on the overall style and design of your home. Doors are a simple way to dramatically update a space or improve functionality in the area.
Investing in the right material, style, and taking into consideration the possibility of specialty doors, you can enhance not only your home's appeal but its efficiency. Doors, as the gateway to your home, another room, or a hidden feature, are something not to be overlooked. Take the time to weigh your options and even get creative and playful with it - show them your personality at the door! One of our companies, MOJO Built, has been developed with the purpose of rebuilding yesterday's historic homes for today's modern lifestyles. With remodel projects spanning the entire metro area, MOJO Built has a clear vision and founders who are passionate about each job at hand. Having listed and sold homes in Kansas City for years, the founders of Mojo Built recognized a lack of qualified industry professionals who possess the ability and vision to enhance functionally obsolescent floor plans of historic homes to today’s standards. Today’s lifestyles require modern floorplans, retrofitted for today’s technology, implemented by a qualified team who has the unique ability to transform an established home in a classic neighborhood while retaining its charm and character.
In response, we, Joe Woods and John Moffitt, formed Mojo Built in 2011. Our mission to maintain, preserve, and prolong the architectural integrity of the home throughout the remodeling process is what makes the finished product of a Mojo Built home unique. MOJO Built now has a Facebook page where you can stay up-to-date on our remodel projects, look at past projects and stay in touch and connect with our family.
